Job summary

ALCOM is seeking a Full Time Manual Labor role in Sioux Falls, SD. The worker will load finished trailers onto various carrier trailers, secure loads, and operate forklift and yard equipment to meet shipping demands.

Qualified candidates have forklift experience and a High School diploma or GED, with rigging and tool handling preferred. The position is outdoors with safety PPE required and potential basic maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience required.
• Rigging and load securement skills preferred.
• Experience with tractors, vehicles and power tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loads finished trailers and parts for shipments.
• Operates forklift, yard tractor and material handling equipment.
• Maintains yard cleanliness and organization.
• Uses straps, wood and dunnage to secure loads.
• Follows safety policies and wears PPE.
• Coordinates load documentation with driver.
• Performs basic equipment maintenance.
• Assists with loading/unloading shipments as needed.
