Job summary

ALCOM is seeking a Quality Manager to lead and optimize the Quality Management System across its aluminum trailer manufacturing operations in Sioux Falls, SD. The role ensures safe, compliant, and high-quality production while coordinating with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in quality leadership in manufacturing, with Lean experience and CAD reading skills, to drive process standardization and continuous improvement across plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field, or 5+ years in a leadership role.
• 5+ years of quality management experience in manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing experience required.
• CAD print reading skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System.
• Establish quality standards, inspection criteria, auditing procedures, and controls.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs and regulatory standards.
• Lead QA/QC plans for all product lines.
• Lead internal audits and support external audits.
• Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction using Lean methods.
