Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Napoleon, OH seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team toward injury-free operations while meeting productivity, safety, and quality goals. You will motivate a 10-20 person team and drive continuous improvement in a lean environment.

The role requires strong safety leadership, hands-on coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced plant.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in safety and environmental compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to coach, develop and build a strong team.
• Strong listening and clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to resolve conflict and work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a results-oriented environment.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Willingness to perform physical tasks in a plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe workplace and promote safety mindset across the team.
• Hires, schedules and supervises full-time staff and temporary workers.
• Provides coaching and timely feedback; conducts reviews.
• Facilitate team development and process training for consistency.
• Oversee process documentation, quality control and Lean initiatives.
• Track productivity and manage cost within budget using lean methods.
• Ensure inventory controls and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support maintenance.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
