Job summary

The role centers on coaching a team of ~20, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures. You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize processes while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in manufacturing
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Physically able to perform job tasks and work in plant environments

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a production team of about 20 to achieve safety, productivity, and quality goals
• Ensure a safe workplace and promote safety mindset across the team
• Hire, schedule, and supervise full-time and temporary staff
• Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews
• Improve quality and efficiency in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance
• Monitor inventory control and production costs using lean methods
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement
