Great Dane LLC is seeking an Industrial Engineer to develop, document, and own trailer manufacturing processes using lean principles. The role emphasizes reducing cost, improving productivity, and implementing best practices with ergonomic risk mitigation to enhance safety.

Responsibilities include applying Lean tools to improve material flow, designing efficient workstations, and developing standard labor hours.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering required.
• 5–10 years manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficient with AutoCAD; knowledge of Lean, PFMEA, SPC.

Responsabilidades

• Implement Lean Manufacturing to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Apply industrial engineering tools to improve material flow and ergonomics.
• Design workstations to minimize waste and optimize throughput.
• Develop and maintain standard labor hours, cycle times, and move times.
• Use data to identify waste and improve operations with value stream mapping.
• Improve material flow and storage to reduce waste from movement.
• Develop staffing plans for facility segments and cost-reduction projects.
• Identify and mitigate ergonomic risks and support PFMEA.
• Evaluate make-buy opportunities and participate in continuous improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
