Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Production Supervisor at the Alsip, IL plant to lead daily manufacturing operations for IRP, MP Pump and MPOB units. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while guiding a diverse team in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a track record of meeting deadlines. Experience with CNC processes, lean methods, and SAP is highly valued to optimize workflows and achieve cost-effective production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• CNC production machining experience required.
• Strong communicator able to translate technical information clearly.
• History of meeting deadlines and delivering results.
• Good problem solving and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment and investigate incidents.
• Develop and implement engagement plans to grow and retain talent.
• Supervise production teams to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Review schedules and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Monitor quality and equipment, drive lean improvements.
• Coordinate materials to maintain smooth production flow.
