Ingersoll Rand in Alsip, IL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to build and lead a skilled maintenance team supporting a large, complex machine shop with 80+ machining centers. The role focuses on accountability, reliability, and continuous improvement to keep production moving.

The successful candidate will manage PMs, coordinate troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems, and develop staff through training and coaching, while collaborating with Operations,

Qualifications

3 - 5+ years of progressive experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, ideally in a union environment.
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
2+ years troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or controls systems.
2+ years working knowledge of OSHA regulations, LOTO, and machine guarding.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct maintenance technicians in PM, corrective work orders, and emergency repairs.
Prioritize and assign daily work to maximize equipment uptime and minimize production disruption.
Lead troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls issues on CNC machining and production equipment.
Ensure PM schedules are executed on time and to standard; elevate recurring failures for root cause analysis.
Own accurate work order and equipment records within the CMMS/TPM system.
Coordinate spare parts availability with the storeroom to reduce downtime.
