Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Alsip, IL facility. You will build and develop a skilled maintenance team, drive uptime, safety, and reliability across 80+ machining centers, and partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Finance to advance continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in a supervisory role in a union environment, strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and controls systems, and a collaborative

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance technicians in PM, corrective work orders, and emergency repairs.
• Prioritize and assign daily work to maximize equipment uptime and minimize production disruption.
• Lead troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls issues on CNC machining and production equipment.
• Ensure PM schedules are executed on time and to standard; elevate recurring failures for root cause analysis.
• Own accurate work order and equipment records within the CMMS/TPM system.
• Coordinate spare parts availability with the storeroom to reduce downtime.
