Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the Milroyal manufacturing team, drive daily/weekly/monthly goals, and coordinate workflows in a structured environment. You will coach and mentor team members, ensure safety and quality standards, and optimize production output.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, with experience supervising assembly operations and applying lean principles to improve efficiency and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 1-2 years of assembly experience with 3 years supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of KPI (key performance indicators).
• Understanding of Lean principles and responsibilities.
• Proficient computer knowledge (SSO credentials, JD Edwards, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and manipulate data to support department goals.
• Meet cross-training requirements and update spreadsheets accordingly.
• Maintain production scheduling tool and coordinate with other departments.
• Make daily updates to the management and productivity board.
• Ensure assemblers are trained in procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain production pace to meet customer demand and manage absences.
• Report shortages and resolve equipment or parts issues impacting delivery.
• Perform quality checks per ISO requirements and maintain records.
• Participate in MRB and quality discussions; stay up-to-date on production features.
• Follow all safety guidelines and operate with PPE; comply with 5S rules.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and standardize procedures.
