Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Alsip, IL seeks an Alsip Plant Manager, Site Leader to drive safety, operational excellence and financial performance across materials management, machining, assembly, shipping/receiving, and warehousing.

You will translate business unit strategies into KPIs, lead lean transformations, coach teams, and own the annual operating plan while building an inclusive, high-performing culture focused on customer delivery, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of operations experience across materials management, machining, assembly, or quality.
• 5+ years of direct plant management in a multi-product industrial or automotive environment.
• Experience leading materials transformation; ERP implementation preferred.
• Capabilities include customer focus, Lean principles, financial and operational execution, relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Partner across functions to plan, resource, and deliver products and key projects.
• Drive daily management with KPIs across materials, quality, machining, assembly, shipping, and warehousing.
• Build an engaged, inclusive, high-performing culture rooted in safety and quality.
• Lead transformational change aligned with business unit strategies.
• Develop and coach employees while strengthening people and process capabilities.
• Maintain a proactive, zero-injury safety environment.
• Oversee maintenance, facilities, and manufacturing engineering, including process improvements.
• Own and manage the annual operating plan aligned with financial forecasts.
