Job summary

Ingersoll Rand's Chicago facility in Illinois seeks an Operations and Sales Manager to lead the site’s daily manufacturing operations and drive commercial growth. You will oversee safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people leadership while aligning with multisite strategies and governance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Engineering, and a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction through Lean principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• 7+ years leading operations in a manufacturing environment with 20+ employees.
• 5+ years of strong financial acumen with site P&L, labor models, and budgets.
• 4+ years Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People) targets.
• Ensure on-time productions while meeting quality, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Align production schedules, materials, and customer demand across the site.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment (OSHA, EHS, environmental standards).
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement and cost reduction actions.
• Own site revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
• Partner with Sales and leadership on business development, demand planning, and quoting.
• Manage site financial performance, including budget, costs, and CAPEX execution.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team and culture, ensuring alignment with multi-site strategy and governance.
