Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations in Ennis, TX is hiring a Manufacturing Production Supervisor. You will lead daily production, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain.

The role offers growth toward operations leadership and requires a BS in a related field and 2+ years in manufacturing, plus strong leadership and problem solving. Overtime may be required; you will help drive lean initiatives and improve OEE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment (including internships).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production metrics.
• Proven leadership, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and quality compliance standards.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop production team members to meet performance expectations.
• Conduct daily shift meetings, assign tasks, and ensure proper staffing.
• Manage attendance, discipline, and evaluations per policies.
• Oversee daily production to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Monitor KPIs such as throughput, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency and OEE.
• Ensure compliance with schedules and adjust work as needed.
• Maintain documentation including shift reports and production records.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment utilization and reduce setup time.
