Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while driving continuous improvement. You will supervise production staff, manage staffing, performance, and training, and collaborate across Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Logistics to support efficient operations.

Strong leadership, GMP knowledge, and experience with manufacturing systems (SAP) are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop production employees.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, performance, and employee relations matters.
• Partner with Human Resources on hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, food safety, GMP, and company standards.
• Monitor production performance, equipment efficiency, and labor utilization.
• Maintain accurate production, attendance, and operational records.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Logistics to support efficient operations.
• Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve production, quality, and employee issues.
