Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to direct the activities of a manufacturing team, ensuring daily production schedules for assembly and fabrication of sub-assemblies while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role involves coordinating with department leaders, managing payroll and attendance, training staff, and ensuring on-time shipping and compliance with plant standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• In absence of a 2-year degree, eight to ten years of related experience or formal certification may be acceptable.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains productivity levels according to plant goals.
• Coordinates daily or weekly production plans with Department Leaders.
• Ensures safety, quality, cost, and delivery; drives safety performance to reduce incidents.
• Interviews, hires, and trains employees; manages performance and addresses complaints.
• Ensures on-time shipping and maintains daily labor and attendance records.
