Job summary

Johnson Controls in Lubbock, TX is seeking a hands-on Senior Production Supervisor to lead a dedicated manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. You will drive daily production, uphold safety and quality, and partner with engineering to implement cost-saving improvements.

The role focuses on directing work, managing workflow, and leveraging LEAN tools to optimize performance while maintaining strict adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• University degree with required experience in manufacturing leadership.
• Experience as Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production schedules in assembly/fabrication of sub-assemblies.
• Direct activities of a work team to meet production goals while prioritizing safety and quality.
• Facilitate workflow, assign absences, answer questions, and resolve problems.
• Control costs within budget by minimizing scrap and rework.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement cost reductions and scheduling improvements.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate the workgroup; support accident investigations.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure policy compliance.
