Job summary

Altium Packaging’s Phoenix facility seeks a production supervisor to direct and monitor manufacturing of packaging solutions on the 12-hour D shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.).

You will lead by our Guiding Principles, manage resources, coach staff, drive continuous improvement, ensure safety and quality, and guarantee on-time delivery while maintaining documentation and training progress. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• High level knowledge of machinery and production systems.
• AS degree is preferred.
• Blow or Injection Mold experience is a plus.
• Understanding of a union environment is preferred.
• A drive to strive for continuous improvement.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor activities of production personnel and manage resources employed in manufacturing of packaging solutions.
• Lead by practicing Guiding Principles and champion the culture of Always Made Right, Always Made Safe.
• Ensure safety, quality, production and financial results through continuous improvement.
• Drive value creation by improving morale and employee engagement and meeting customer specifications on time.
• Maintain documentation and training progress; manage performance, coaching, and development.
• Serve as change agent and demonstrate learning and adaptability; overtime may be required.
