Job summary

Altium Packaging in Phoenix is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct and monitor the activities of our production personnel and the resources used in manufacturing packaging solutions.

You will lead a shift, enforce safety, quality, and efficiency standards, and drive continuous improvement while meeting customer specifications and timely delivery. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this dynamic, union-aware environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• High level knowledge of machinery and production systems.
• AS degree is preferred.
• Blow or Injection Mold experience is a plus.
• Understanding of a union environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor activities of production personnel and manage resources in manufacturing packaging solutions.
• Lead by practicing Guiding Principles and uphold safety culture and right-first-time standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Drive value creation through morale, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Meet customer product specifications and deliver on time.
• Coach and develop team members; manage performance reviews and promotions as needed.
• Act as a Change Agent; adapt to business changes and learn new skills.
• Maintain documentation and provide instruction and learning aids as appropriate.
