Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Houston, TX facility to lead daily shift operations. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing activities while driving productivity and quality.

This role requires coaching front-line teams, managing staffing, and delivering results against production targets. As a frontline leader, you will champion safety, mentor employees, and participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste and optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and schedule attainment.
• Enforce safety policies, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to close performance gaps.
• Ensure adherence to standard work, SOPs, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate staffing, shift assignments, and coverage to meet production needs.
• Identify and escalate operational, safety, quality, and equipment concerns.
• Lead shift handoffs, team meetings, and daily communication.
• Train, coach, and develop employees to improve performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and records.
