Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Production Supervisor at our Houston, TX facility to oversee safe, efficient daily manufacturing operations and lead front-line teams. The role targets safety, quality, and delivery performance, acting as the link between hourly employees and management.

The supervisor will enforce safety policies, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating staffing and handoffs. Reports To: Manufacturing Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience executing production plans and meeting operational goals.
• Understanding of quality systems, process controls, and continuous improvement principles.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and take corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and schedule attainment.
• Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and shift coverage to meet production needs.
• Train, coach, and develop employees to improve performance and skills.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and operational records.
