Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a Production Operator in Houston for the 3rd shift. The role involves working in multiple production areas to meet customer requirements and follow safety procedures under supervision.

You will support operations across bowls, bonding/blending, extrusion and grinding/packaging areas, with emphasis on accuracy and cleanliness. Requirements include a high school diploma, basic English skills, and the ability to work varied shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (minimum)
• Read, write and speak English
• 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe work areas and minimize material spillage.
• Strive to achieve all production and quality goals.
• Assist maintenance when directed by Shift Leader.
• Communicate status of products, equipment, and quality between shifts.
• Ensure proper logs and records are kept and available.
• Follow company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Evaluate equipment condition and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Notify Shift Leader immediately of any problems.
• Handle materials and processes per area SOPs and batch tickets.
• Ensure no cross contamination between products.
