Job summary

Bay Insulation of Texas - Houston is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee local scheduling and real-time operations at the Houston plant. The role directs plant operations to maximize resources, meet customer demand, and achieve productivity and cost targets.

The successful candidate will lead production, maintenance, quality controls and related activities, while supervising staff and coordinating with the Division Manager to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production management experience including forecasting, scheduling and real-time production management.
• Experience in a production or distribution environment.
• Experience supervising, coaching and developing staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping/receiving.
• Coordinate plant activities to meet objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Establish and monitor plant performance against production and quality standards.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of consumables and sellable goods.
