Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston‑headquartered manufacturer, seeks an experienced supervisor to lead the assembly team in a project‑driven environment. You will plan resources, hire and develop staff, and ensure safety, quality, and on‑time delivery while coordinating with engineering, purchasing, and project management.

Strong background in heavy mechanical systems, pumps, piping, and ISO/quality practices is required. Expect a hands‑on leader role with budget responsibility and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a manufacturing/industrial team.
• Ability to read P&ID, ISO standards, and engineering drawings.
• Shop math skills and strong written/verbal communication.
• 7–10 years of technical manufacturing experience; 5+ years supervisory.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work team in planning and execution of assembly activities.
• Plan resources based on backlog and workload.
• Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, operations, QA, and PMs.
• Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality targets.
• Maintain safety, quality, and timely material movement.
• Develop and implement standard work procedures.
• Monitor department budgets and capital plans.
• Train staff on safety regulations and procedures.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
