Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a skilled Operations Supervisor for our Houston, TX facility. You will supervise direct labor, coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and project teams, and drive cost, quality, schedule, and safety performance in a project-centric setting.

You will plan workloads, hire and coach staff, and implement standard work procedures to improve efficiency while maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Heavy mechanical background with pumps, motors, piping, valves, skid units.
• Ability to read P&IDs, ISO, and engineering drawings.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing/industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assembly teams and plan execution of activities.
• Plan resources based on backlog and workload forecasts.
• Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and project managers to meet requirements.
• Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality targets.
• Maintain safety, quality, and process improvements in the department.
• Develop and implement standard work procedures for productivity.
• Train employees on new methods and safety regulations.
