Job summary

Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Salary Exempt Production Supervisor to lead a production team, ensure safety, quality, and on-time product processing, packaging and storage in compliance with FDA, USDA and company rules.

You will schedule and supervise frontline employees, track attendance, review time off, and coordinate production with other departments to meet customer requirements while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience with at least 1 year in a lead role.
• Strong English communication and supervisory abilities.
• Experience with LEAN concepts and production reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of front-line employees to drive productivity and safety.
• Schedules, tracks attendance, and reviews time off for direct reports.
• Manages production reports, throughput and yield to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborates with HR and other departments to optimize operations and cost.
