Qualifications

• Leads a team of front-line employees and motivates them to drive productivity.
• Manages scheduling, attendance, and time-off approvals for direct reports.
• Promotes a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, facility).
• Applies LEAN concepts to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Coordinates with other departments to meet production and quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned production team to achieve goals and ensure safety, teamwork, and product quality.
• Oversees product processing, packaging, and storage in compliance with FDA, USDA, and Simmons rules.
• Manages daily production reports, line speeds, and throughput to meet customer requirements.
• Maintains inventory records and requisitions ingredients/supplies as needed.
• Collaborates with HR on staffing, performance management, and discipline.
