Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Team Lead to manage an assigned group, ensure safe and efficient production, and meet quality standards. You will oversee scheduling, attendance, and time-off approvals while driving continuous improvement and lean practices across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years related work experience with 1 year in a leading role.
• Experience in food processing preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of front-line employees and motivates them to drive productivity.
• Schedules, tracks attendance, and approves time off for direct reports.
• Maintains inventory records and requisitions ingredients/supplies as needed.
• Reviews production against customer requirements and ensures line speeds meet targets.
• Promotes a safe work environment and enforces safety regulations.
• Applies LEAN concepts to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Collaborates with HR and other departments to support operations.
