Job summary

Gemini, Inc. seeks a Bilingual Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Decorah, IA to lead daily shop floor operations, manage staffing and schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will drive continuous improvement, monitor performance metrics, and coach team members to strengthen capabilities across production areas. This role emphasizes collaboration with maintenance, engineering, and planning teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, industrial technology or related field.
• Experience leading hourly production employees or cross-functional production teams in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, OSHA or related continuous improvement methods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on daily leadership for assigned production areas, including work direction, staffing, shift readiness and schedule execution.
• Own daily production performance by monitoring output, labor efficiency, downtime, scrap, and material availability.
• Lead daily start-up meetings, Gemba walks, visual management reviews, and shift handoffs for alignment and accountability.
• Plan, assign, and adjust work to meet customer requirements, production schedules, staffing, and equipment conditions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning, and supply chain to resolve issues and sustain reliable operations.
