Job Overview

The Fresh Mark facility in Salem, Ohio, is accepting applications for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor. The starting salary is $56,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide leadership and direction to hourly personnel engaged in food manufacturing and processing.
2. Supervise production lines ensuring compliance with good manufacturing practices, quality assurance, safety, and employee relations.
3. Maintain safety standards through training and enforcement of safety rules.
4. Foster positive relationships with bargaining unit employees.
5. Drive departmental efficiency and productivity.
6. Monitor inventory levels, yields, and machinery to ensure quality and minimize downtime.
7. Ensure effective communication and teamwork among staff.
8. Manage labor costs, staffing, and overtime.
9. Maintain product quality and flow to meet customer demands.

Minimum Requirements

• 2-4 years of education, training, or work experience related to business management, food production, or manufacturing processes.
• Availability for overtime and weekend work as needed.
• Ability to work first or second shift, including reporting one hour prior to shift start and staying after shift for reports or paperwork.
