Responsibilities: IDEMIA, located in Exton, PA, is looking to add a Production Supervisor to our 2nd shift Metal Card production department. This role involves leading a team of approximately 15 Machine Operators focused on Metal Payment Card production.

This position is responsible for supervising the production department and team members, managing schedules and output targets, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and reduce costs. The supervisor will also support employees in problem-solving and meeting facilitation using established management tools.

• Identify daily production challenges and implement solutions to prevent recurrence and meet schedules
• Act as a liaison between associates and management, supporting staff through changes
• Develop and monitor standardized work, and audit key result areas
• Conduct daily team meetings and set expectations
• Monitor production hourly, address bottlenecks, and ensure goals are met
• Oversee flow of materials and work with staff to improve processes
• Review schedules and estimate hours for jobs
• Interpret specifications and delegate duties accordingly
• Recommend improvements for production, equipment, quality, and safety
• Promote safety rules and motivate staff
• Implement cross-training plans for employees
• Support lean initiatives and daily production activities
• Supervise staff according to company policies, including attendance, security, and performance
• Collaborate on production goals with management
• Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and implement process improvements

Qualifications: 3-5 years supervisory experience in production, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, excellent communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and visual defect recognition skills.
