Manufacturing Supervisor, Filling/Capping (2nd Shift)

The Role:

The Supervisor, Manufacturing, is part of the Manufacturing Leadership Team, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. You will support manufacturing personnel, oversee production of injectable drugs, ensure compliance with SOPs and batch records, and communicate effectively across departments. You will promote an environment aligned with our core values of partnership, productivity, safety, and quality.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, with weekend rotation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  2. Provide leadership and support to manufacturing staff.
  3. Recruit, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for staff.
  4. Oversee daily production, staffing, materials, compliance, and training activities, with significant presence on the shop floor.
  5. Manage documentation and assist in product release.
  6. Implement training programs to ensure GMP and EHS compliance.
  7. Develop performance metrics and conduct internal audits.
  8. Lead process improvements and technical reviews.
  9. Address technical and GMP issues impacting production.
  10. Support deviations and perform root cause analysis.
  11. Participate in audits and inspections.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise software (e.g., JDE, BPLM).
Physical and Safety Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy objects.
  • Perform overhead work and gown for cleanroom environments.
  • Use PPE including safety shoes, gloves, eye protection, and respirators as needed.
  • Good eyesight and manual dexterity.
