Job summary

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is seeking a Production Specialist I for the 2nd shift in Florida. This hands-on role involves outdoor work, handling propane cylinders, and operating washer/paint lines. You will lift up to 40 lb, ensure quality, and support a safety-first warehouse culture.

The schedule is 5:00pm–3:30am with opportunities to advance from Level I to II and beyond, based on learning and performance. Strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs washer functions and processes cylinders on conveyer belt.
• Dispatches cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Completes paint line operations including loading, applying, and unloading.
• Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry, Capper, and Stacker.
• Checks for leaks, weights, and sleeve malfunctions.
• Performs cylinder refurb operations and stacks finished product.
• Ensures quality assurance throughout the process.

Blue Rhino is seeking a 2nd Shift Full-Time Production Specialist to join our hardworking and safety-focused team. This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role where you'll frequently lift and stack 40 lb.propane cylinders while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Every cylinder you handle is cleaned, leak-tested, and inspected, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. If you enjoy physical, team-oriented work and have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact every day.

Schedule: 5:00pm - 3:30am

Pay Scale: With consistent learning and strong performance, you can quickly advance from Level I to Level II and up to Senior Level. Below is the pay scale that shows your opportunity for growth:

• Production Specialist I: $18.00
• Production Specialist II: $19.00
• Sr Production Specialist: $20.00

Responsibilities

• Performs Washer functions which include placing cylinders on conveyer belt, sorting, removing sleeve and peeling label.
• Cylinders dispatch to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Completes Paint Line operations which include loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger.
• Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry station, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing).
• Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
• Performs cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.
• Stacks finished product.
• Checks for quality assurance.
• Some positions may require the ability to lift 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and in all weather conditions

Qualifications

• Possess integrity and a good work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime, as required
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States
