Job summary

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is recruiting a 2nd Shift Production Specialist for a hands-on, outdoor role. You will lift 40 lb cylinders, inspect and leak-test, and support washing and painting operations in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.

The schedule is 5:00pm–3:30am with a clear path for advancement from Production Specialist I to II and Sr levels, based on performance. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work overtime, as required.
• Basic ability to understand technical instructions, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Place cylinders on conveyor belt and prepare for processing.
• Dispatch cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Load cylinders for paint line operations and unload after processing.
• Operate equipment such as Shot Blast, Tare weight entry, Capper, and Stacker.
• Check for leaks, weight issues, or sleeve malfunctions.
• Perform cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.
• Stack finished product and ensure quality control.

Blue Rhino is seeking a 2nd Shift Full-Time Production Specialist to join our hardworking and safety-focused team. This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role where you'll frequently lift and stack 40 lb. propane cylinders while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Every cylinder you handle is cleaned, leak-tested, and inspected, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. If you enjoy physical, team-oriented work and have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact every day.

Schedule: 5:00pm- 3:30am

Pay: With consistent learning and strong performance, you can quickly advance from Level I to Level II and up to Senior Level. Below is the pay scale that shows your opportunity for growth:

• Production Specialist I: $18.50
• Production Specialist II: $19.50
• Sr Production Specialist: $20.50

Responsibilities

• Performs Washer functions which include placing cylinders on conveyer belt, sorting, removing sleeve and peeling label.
• Cylinders dispatch to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Completes Paint Line operations which include loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger.
• Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry station, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing).
• Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
• Performs cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.
• Stacks finished product.
• Checks for quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Possess integrity and a good work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime, as required
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States
