Job summary

Niagara Bottling is hiring a Production Operator Lead to support daily production floor operations under the Production Supervisor. You will help ensure safety, quality and throughput while coordinating with the prior shift and guiding changeovers.

The role requires strong attention to GMP and food safety standards, with 12-hour rotating shifts as needed. The candidate should have 4+ years in manufacturing, with experience managing people or projects, and prefer an Associate’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with daily activities of assigned shift, ensuring product safety, quality, and throughput.
• Communicate with previous shift regarding challenges to prepare for the shift.
• Conduct shift walkthroughs to verify safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance.
• Assist with batching minerals and preparing lines for changeovers.
• Order and inspect raw materials before changeovers and perform first pass quality checks.
• Verify jobs in Oracle/WM System/Line Management System.
• Support Production Supervisor with hourly or end-of-shift production reports.
• Utilize Efficiency Improvement Tools to analyze line downtime and escalate as needed.
• Adhere to GMP and Food Safety Standards and safety programs.
