Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking a Production Operator Lead to collaborate with the Production Supervisor and drive daily production on the floor while maintaining safety, quality, and throughput.

The role requires adherence to GMP and Food Safety standards, effective communication across shifts, and hands-on involvement in changeovers, material handling, and reporting. 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule are possible.

Qualifications

• 4 years - experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• 4 years - experience in position.
• 4 years - experience managing people/projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with daily activities of assigned shift, ensuring product safety, quality and throughput.
• Communicate with previous shift regarding challenges and opportunities on the production lines to prepare for the shift.
• Conduct walkthroughs to verify safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance.
• Assist with batching minerals (if applicable) and preparing lines for scheduled changeovers.
• Order and inspect raw materials prior to changeovers to ensure correct inventories for production runs; perform first-pass quality checks after changeovers.
• Verify discrete jobs in Oracle, Warehouse Management System, and/or Line Management System.
• Support Production Supervisor with hourly and/or end-of-shift production reports.
• Use Efficiency Improvement Tools to monitor line downtime and escalate as needed.
• Adhere to GMP and Food Safety Standards; maintain safety as top priority.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance; work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or as needed.
