Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Production Operator Lead to support the Production Supervisor in daily floor operations, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput. The role involves coordinating shift activities, preparing lines for changeovers, and verifying materials and systems for accurate production records.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in manufacturing, leadership experience, and a strong GMP/food safety mindset. Paid 12-hour shifts rotate 2-2-3 at our Columbus, OH facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years – Field or similar manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 4 years – Experience in position.
• Minimum 4 years – Experience managing people/projects.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
• Preferred: 6 years – Field/position/people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with daily activities and ensure safety, quality, and throughput.
• Communicate with previous shift about challenges and opportunities on the lines.
• Conduct shift walkthroughs for safety, housekeeping, and quality checks.
• Prepare lines for scheduled changeovers and inspect materials before use.
• Verify jobs in Oracle and WMS; support shift reports and downtime analysis.
