Job summary

RRD Company in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Production & Manufacturing Supervisor for 1st shift to lead daily operations, ensure product quality, and maintain safety standards.

The role requires coordinating with teams, auditing processes, and driving continuous improvement while meeting production goals and company policies. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Able to apply policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives.
• Excellent oral and written communication across departments.
• Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and priorities.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Proficient with computers and software programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and audit work processes to confirm production specifications.
• Maintain relationships with employees and route policy questions to management.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance; report issues.
• Inspect products/shipments for conformance to specifications.
• Review and approve machine set ups and production samples.
• Identify opportunities for continual improvement.
• Attend production meetings and coordinate with other departments.
• Coordinate or perform training to ensure safety, quality, and production needs.
• Ensure understanding of Quality Policy and Objectives.
• Oversee junior staff and review work for accuracy.
• Update shift schedules and manage attendance records.
