Job summary

Qualifications

• A.S. degree in business, technical or related field; BS preferred.
• Equivalent education and experience acceptable.
• Minimum five years in manufacturing.
• At least two years leading others.
• Strong leadership and staff development abilities.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uninterrupted production flow and high-quality output in a cost-effective way.
• Administer company rules and policies and adhere to union contracts.
• Educate employees on safe practices, environmental compliance, and housekeeping.
• Provide leadership for quality and total quality environment.
• Promote cross-training and continuous improvement across the team.
• Plan and control manpower, machines, and resources to meet production plans.
• Ensure equipment and tooling are maintained and safe working conditions.
