Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. is seeking a Production Scheduler to coordinate and optimize a production area in Hamilton, Ohio.

You will manage inventories, schedules and availability of parts to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of capacity across assembly lines. The role involves interfacing with multiple departments, maintaining ERP-based schedules, and monitoring KPIs to address shortages or downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-faceted production control, planning, inventory control, and materials with ability to use spreadsheets and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe working environment by complying with safety policies and promoting safe work practices.
• Develops and maintains a production schedule for one production area to meet delivery requirements and optimize capacity.
• Reviews material supply and demand to determine actions for the production schedule.
• Level loads the schedule based on input from the Production Unit Leader to meet customer requirements.
• Maintains schedule criteria in the ERP system and monitors KPIs for issue prevention.
• Interfaces with manufacturing personnel on material status and planning issues.
• Publishes production schedule detailing products, equipment, sequence, and completion dates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
