Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a Materials Manager to lead demand management, material planning, and production scheduling to ensure uninterrupted operations and exceptional customer service.

The role oversees Customer Demand Analysts, Material Planners, and Production Schedulers, coordinating with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Suppliers to optimize inventory, capacity, and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Extensive experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, and production scheduling within manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading planning teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Customer Demand Management, Production Scheduling, and Material Planning through managers.
• Ensure planning processes and controls support forecasts, schedules, inventory objectives, and performance.
• Develop and execute scheduling strategies balancing demand, capacity, inventory, and labor availability.
• Oversee material planning to ensure uninterrupted availability while minimizing supply chain risk.
• Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvements in planning accuracy and delivery performance.
