Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline preferred; AS or technical degree with equivalent experience considered.
• Production planning experience in manufacturing, preferably steel/metal.
• Knowledge of cold rolled steel production, processes, quality control, and distribution.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient with ERP systems (SAP) and planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Production Planning Team Leader to support production planning.
• Track production orders and ensure material availability per schedule.
• Enter production orders and manage scheduling for machine centers.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales and Purchasing to align with customer requirements.
• Provide accurate production schedules and reports for shifts and leadership.
