Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a Production Scheduler to coordinate and optimize a production area to meet on‑time delivery targets and inventory replenishment goals.

You will manage inventory levels, schedules, and material availability for both manufactured and purchased parts in a cross‑functional environment. The role requires strong ERP/MRP skills, experience with SAP, and the ability to translate plant needs into a time‑phased build schedule while

Qualifications

• Experience in production control, planning, inventory control and ERP software; automotive experience preferred.
• Understanding of materials management and lean manufacturing concepts (JIT, lean, make-to-stock).
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and WIP management.
• Ability to translate the production plant into a time-phased build schedule.
• Experience with large ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a production schedule for one assembly area.
• Reviews material supply and demand to support the schedule.
• Level loads the schedule based on input from leadership to meet customer requirements.
• Maintains schedule criteria in the ERP system.
• Monitors daily manufacturing performance indicators and addresses issues.
• Publishes production schedule with products, equipment, and dates.
• Interfaces with manufacturing on material status and planning issues.
• Monitors performance against schedule and KPIs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
