Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde in Ohio is seeking a production scheduler to align the master schedule with shop floor reality. You will coordinate daily production plans and communicate changes to production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal material flow.

The role requires attention to detail, experience with SAP, Excel, and GTT Fast Pro, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to maintain on-time delivery and achieve the master schedule.

Qualifications

• Three years of related education and/or experience in production scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Excel and SAP and general computer hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of product through the plant and review SAP schedules.
• Issue daily updated production schedule to plant personnel.
• Release and print production job packets from SAP.
• Monitor and close orders in SAP.
• Update SAP and job packets when ECN changes.
• Monitor and control WIP.
• Advise Production Manager when overtime is needed to support production schedule.
