Position

We are looking for a Production Scheduler who will take ownership of developing a daily and weekly production plan, ensure our finished goods inventory is at an effective level and execute daily ordering of the necessary raw materials to support 100% on-time delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide the manufacturing team with daily and weekly production plans
• Take ownership of finished goods including monitoring appropriate levels, cycle counting and annual physical inventory counts
• Purchase necessary inventory based on customer needs
• Develop and/or strengthen relationships with key vendors
• Track metrics and report on KPI’s
• Collaborate with the management team to meet company goals
• Participate in and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives related to production planning and other processes
• Support CI and Operations teams to build standard work processes
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of two years in production planning, scheduling, and/or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Management preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to use analytical tools (Excel, MiniTab, etc.)
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams
• A detailed and analytical mindset with a constant focus to drive improvement
• Strong Project Management skills
• Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) a plus
