General Summary
This individual will be responsible for preparing manufacturing schedules to manage the flow of work through the plant operation. This position will issue work orders to various manufacturing work centers in accordance with release dates, work center load schedules, and material availability. Responsibilities also include monitoring deadlines, ensuring work is completed on time, and promoting the QRM (Quick Response Manufacturing) culture throughout the business system. The role involves checking critical material levels, managing special items, sub-contract work, order processing, and other factors essential to maintaining an uninterrupted flow of work and fulfilling shipping commitments. Additional duties include order preparation, issuing supplementary orders, and expediting on order changes, cancellations, or rush items. Support for programs such as quick delivery, stocking, Same Day Shipment (SDS), and other customer-focused initiatives is also required. Collaboration with Materials, Production Supervisors, Inside Sales, and Shipping teams to meet On Time Delivery objectives is essential.

Education Requirements
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent plus:
- Three years of manufacturing experience in a scheduling role or equivalent work experience in a related field, or
- An associate’s degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.
Additional knowledge of MRP (Epicor experience a plus), Lean Manufacturing or QRM, and the manufacturing process (flow of work, machine capacity planning, etc.) is required.
