Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Quality engineer to own QA and QC across products and services in our Bangor, ME facility. You will create and maintain control plans, inspection sheets, and standard work instructions while applying PFMEA and related tools to prevent defects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior members, and communicate technical information clearly to customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality, Continuous Improvement)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production quality.
• Legal authorization to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future; relocation within the US is available.

Responsibilities

• Own QA and QC for products and services.
• Create and maintain control plans, inspection sheets, and standardized work instructions.
• Apply PFMEA and quality tools to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Guide junior team members and serve as primary interface with customers in technical discussions.
