Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to establish internal processes that safely produce high-quality products across multiple production lines. You will work daily with floor teams, production, and quality engineering to keep schedules and drive continuous improvement on several projects.

Responsibilities include defining control of production processes, tooling and equipment, validating shop floor designs, leading reliability and safety improvements, and developing work instructions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar technical field.
• Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in tooling, fixtures, and lean principles such as takt/cycle and 5S.

Responsibilities

• Define and control production processes including tooling and equipment.
• Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
• Lead improvement efforts for equipment reliability, tooling, process controls, and safety/ergonomic solutions.
• Develop work instructions & procedures to support operator training and process control.
• Interface with manufacturing and other support teams to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget.
