Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Production Engineer in Bangor, ME to define and control production processes, tooling, and equipment, while developing manufacturing methods aligned with safety, delivery, and SQDC priorities. Candidates should have a technical discipline background and CNC experience.

The role emphasizes Lean practices, cross-team collaboration, and support for new product introductions and CNC operations in an onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 1 year of CNC experience (programming preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support safety, delivery, SQDC priorities.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
• Understand key business drivers and how own work integrates with other teams.
• Participate in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support the Lean Roadmap.
• Support New Product Introduction.
• Support CNC processes.
