Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Manufacturing Quality Specialist in Findlay Township, PA. You will oversee end-to-end quality across manufacturing, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production and Sourcing to close quality gaps, mentor staff, and manage CAPA programs in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in quality management or process improvement in manufacturing.
• 7–8 years of hands-on quality experience for non-degree path.
• Proficiency with SAP in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Quality team from incoming material inspection to end-customer delivery.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and customer quality fulfillment.
• Lead or support product line certifications with Engineering and external agencies.
• Drive proactive quality improvements to achieve zero-defect goals.
• Maintain QMS documentation and ensure compliance and accessibility.
• Monitor quality metrics; conduct root-cause analysis and implement CAPAs.
• Conduct audits to verify adherence to standards and policies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
• Manage calibration systems for monitoring instruments.
• Mentor and train team members on quality principles.
