Job summary

Sharp Electronics Corporation is seeking a Production Print Specialist to drive sales of production color and B/W devices and support pre/post-sale activities. You will collaborate with branch account executives, conduct needs analyses, demonstrations, and application support to expand market share.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or 5+ years equivalent sales experience in production print market or related field.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience creating and delivering professional sales presentations.
• Strong knowledge of print drivers, printer networking, graphics programs, color theory, workflow software and media types.
• OS knowledge: Apple and Windows platforms.
• Software knowledge: Adobe suite, Freehand, QuarkXPress and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Fiery and digital front ends.
• 80%+ travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sale and post-sale support for Sharp production devices and related software.
• Collaborate with branch account executives to drive sales as a client-facing SME.
• Achieve quota by selling Sharp production color/BW devices and grow revenues.
• Offer demonstrations, needs analysis and application support.
• Lead customer presentations and develop business cases for opportunities.
• Support territory management and target list development for SBS clients.
• Train and develop the sales team on production opportunities.
• Coordinate with service personnel on installations of workflow software and finishing options.
