Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is partnering with a strong manufacturing organization to hire a Production Coordinator focused on planning, scheduling, and supply chain operations. The role centers on creating and maintaining production schedules, coordinating across departments, and managing inventory to meet customer demand while maximizing plant efficiency.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, analytical, and proficient with ERP systems and Excel, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience in supply chain, production planning, scheduling, or operations will be considered.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Collaborate with production, processing, and sales teams to align with operational goals.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to changing priorities or capacity.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production requirements.
• Communicate schedules and schedule changes effectively to all impacted departments.
• Maintain accurate records related to production schedules, inventory, and operational metrics.
• Enter purchase orders for raw materials and coordinate delivery timing to align with production schedules.
